Boo Weekley blasted the PGA Tour’s wraparound season and the FedEx Cup in this story by Steve Elling at Golf Blot. “Honestly, this wraparound season sucks,” he said. “It does, seriously. It’s Tim Finchem and them’s tour, is what it is.”

Russell Knox’ victory in the WGC-HSBC Champions was only mildly surprising, Martin Dempster of the Scotsman writes. “Claiming victory as a debutant in a WGC event…What a way to announce your arrival at the pinnacle of the sport. Was it a mild surprise? Yes. A major one? Definitely not. Knox, after all, had been knocking at the door on the PGA Tour.”
