Use Your Pants To Get A Leg Up
If you're like me, keeping a consistent swing plane is the toughest part of the game.
Last month, after a happy hour with some fellow realtors, I came up with this great tip to help remind you where your hands and club should be through the entire swing. It's easy. It's free. And best of all there are no heavy gadgets to lug around.
1. First, cut the grips off your two longest clubs with a utility knife. Insert the shafts six inches into the ground. Keep them shoulder width apart and at a 75-degree angle.
2. Next, take off your pants. I've found that a light-colored pair of slacks provides the best contrast against green grass.
3. Finally, slide each pant leg over the clubs. Voilà! You've created a portable and wearable swing-plane reminder for your practice sessions. Give it a try next time you're at the range. I guarantee your new, powerful and consistent swing will turn heads.
