Baltusrol Golf Club officials accept Golf Digest's 'No Golf' snow challenge

January 26, 2016

Last week in a Throwback Thursday post, we harkened back to 1966 and the celebration surrounding the 50th anniversary year of the PGA of America in anticipation of the festivities that will occur this year with the association’s Centennial tribute. Call it inspiration, or just lucky timing, but when two feet of snow blanketed New Jersey’s Baltusrol Golf Club, site of the upcoming PGA Championship, last weekend, local officials decided it was only appropriate to recreate the scene. (OK, so we sort of egged them on to do it in our post.)

Well played, gentlemen.
