Baltimore Orioles announcer tries to announce like Jim Nantz in empty baseball stadium

Most of us are guilty of doing a Jim Nantz impression from time to time. A soft "Hello, friends" is acceptable practice among golf fans.

Count Baltimore Orioles announcer Gary Thorne in that category. At Wednesday's empty Camden Yards -- the violence in Baltimore caused the Orioles to play without any fans in the stadium -- Thorne felt the atmosphere was more like a golf tournament than a baseball game. So he channeled his inner Nantz to deliver a call on a double by Adam Jones as if he were at Augusta National calling the final round of the Masters. We appreciate the effort, Gary.
