Here’s your chance to tee off inside the ropes on the PGA Tour, take on major courses and support the future of golf

The holiday season is approaching, and with that comes a lot of anxiety. What should I buy? Is this a waste of money? Will they even like this? Instead of fretting and stress-eating—trust us, we get it—you can help support golfers in line for college scholarships … while also (selfishly) teeing off at some of the best courses in the world. Now, that’s a gift.
The American Junior Golf Association's annual online auction runs from Oct. 20-24, and it's set to feature an insane roster of tee times, family holidays and even a chance to play 18 holes with PGA Tour players at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. You can also bid to tee off with Major League Baseball All-Star and World Series Champion, Bobby Bonilla.
The money will go to athletic and academic scholarships, most notably the AJGA’s Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills. The AJGA hosts 10,500 members aged 12-19, with golfers coming from more than 60 countries and all 50 states.
If you're not looking to be beaten down by a major contender, maybe you can settle for teeing it up at a major course like Valhalla Golf Club (host of the 2024 PGA Championship and Scottie Scheffler's post-jail round) or Whistling Straits, which has held a handful of PGA Championships and a Ryder Cup (in which the Americans didn't self-combust), or Shinnecock Hills (which has hosted five U.S. Opens), or even Bellerive Country Club, host of the 2018 PGA Championship (where Brooks Koepka triumphed over Tiger Woods to win his third major title) and the 2030 Presidents Cup.
The list also includes Oak Hill, Winged Foot: West, TPC Sawgrass, Baltusrol, Aronimink, Congressional, Oakmont, Fisher’s Island, Muirfield Village, Peachtree and Bluejack National. And for those non-golfers, there are fly-fishing trips, hunting excursions, a seven-night Mexico stay and even tickets to the 2026 U.S. Open tennis finals.
There are so many more prizes and tee times to be won, so take a little perusal and see how much you can put on your credit cards.
The AJGA is renowned for bolstering “the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf,” so you know the money is going to a good cause.
However, make sure you have some backup money on hand. You’ll need it for a couple of extra golf balls.
