Aaron Wise makes hole-in-one, eagle on back-to-back holes at OHL Classic at Mayakoba

To use a gambling term, Aaron Wise parlayed his performance last week in Las Vegas into another PGA Tour start this week. By finishing T-10 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Wise earned a spot in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.

To use another gambling term, the reigning NCAA champ is still riding the hot hand.

Taking advantage of the tour's top-10 rule, Wise's opening round in Mexico on Thursday got off to an incredible start when he aced the par-3 fourth hole at El Camaleon Golf Club. What did he do for an encore? He made an eagle on the par-5 fifth.

Yes. Yes it is.

Unfortunately, with this being a fall event and Wise having an early tee time, it doesn't seem like there are highlights of either hole. But again, for a guy with no status on the PGA Tour (Wise earned a Web.com Tour card through the Mackenzie Tour), we're pretty sure he's still happy about this start. If he keeps this up, Wise could turn that sponsor's exemption in Vegas into a real jackpot.

UPDATE: Wise finished with a 65 and shared the early lead with Webb Simpson.
