Aaron Hicks makes hole-in-one on a par 4 (!!), Cheyenne Woods captures his reaction on video

We didn't need last week's Topgolf MOONSHOT video to confirm what we already knew: New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks is a very, very good golfer, perhaps among the best athlete golfers in all of sports. That said, there's hitting it into a wide open space at Topgolf and then there's the real golf course. Two entirely different places, as any hacker knows.

Hicksy is anything but a hacker, as we know. One week removed from sending a ball over the net at Topgolf, he apparently did something far more impressive on the real course (Silverleaf Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona to be specific). According to this clip from LPGA pro and niece of Tiger Woods Cheyenne Woods, who Hicks has been dating since last spring, the sweet-swinging switch hitter made a hole-in-one on Sunday ... on a par 4 ... with a 3-wood:

That, my friends, is tour-pro level stuff. No, we're not saying Aaron should go full Steph Curry or Tony Romo and try to make a run at going pro in another sport (the man has a World Series to win first), but it would be nice to see him in the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble or in the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe. The two key issues there are that Pebble is usually right around the time Spring Training begins, and Tahoe is smack in the middle of the actual season.

The LPGA's Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, however, is taking place this week, a month before Hicks has to report to camp. Hicks will be among the celebrities in the field, and Cheyenne will be on his bag.

Unfortunately, there is no clip of the ball actually going in the hole, which is hard to capture on a 303-yard par 4. We'll take Cheyenne's word for it, and hopefully we'll get to see Hicks tee it up on television some day.
