A Winged Foot opportunity

September 15, 2009

Today our mail contained an interesting offer. It's a day at Winged Foot--volunteering. No golf, but a visit to the great course, a couple of meals and the satisfaction of contributing to a worthy cause.

Dear Editor,>

If you know of anyone who would like to volunteer for a golf event at Winged Foot Golf Club, please pass this message about the > Gladney Cup on to them. We are looking for walking scorers, hospitality hosts, etc.--junior golfers, students, children are welcome! >

Gladney is one of the greatest adoption agencies in the world. They have been responsible for over 23,000 adoptions. I know many Gladney Families and the love that they share is truly special. My participating with Gladney has been life changing. >

There is a link below where you can get the > volunteer form. Trust me, this is one of the best events you will ever be involved with - outside of the US Open! As a volunteer you will spend the day at the Club, walk the courses, have a meal or two, a drink or two, and most importantly give your time to an extremely worthwhile cause - The Gladney Adoption Center. >

Please consider volunteering at Winged Foot Golf Club on Oct 5th--I can promise you that your heart will be a little fuller for having participated. >

Thank you.

If you've never seen Winged Foot, during an Open or otherwise, you're really into golf and great courses, and you've got a day....go for it.
