A singing/dancing J.R. Smith came to Dustin Johnson's (and Paulina Gretzky's) rescue on Thursday night
What did Dustin Johnson do after his worst round in months? Apparently, go out to dinner with his pal J.R. Smith. The Cleveland Cavaliers guard posted a selfie and a video of he and his wife driving to meet up with DJ and Paulina Gretzky on Thursday night, and boy, are they entertaining.

Great stuff, but is J.R. really driving? And why is the steering wheel on the right side? Regardless, that dinner must have been a good time and a nice pick-me-up for DJ following that opening 77 at the PGA Championship.
Smith, of course, is an avid golfer and golf fan. Just last month, he showed up at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational fresh off winning an NBA championship, hung with Johnson, and even borrowed the U.S. Open champ's driver to hit some balls on the range at Firestone:
There's a good chance Smith will be at Baltusrol at some point this week. And it's an even better bet if his long-hitting buddy can turn things around.
