Among the criticisms of ousted LPGA commissioner Carolyn Bivens was a lack of communication.

In one of his first acts as the new commissioner, Michael Whan on Thursday gave out his cell phone number and email address to members of the Tournament Owners Association at its meeting outside San Diego on Thursday, the Golf Channel reported.
