They're playing a 783-yard (yes, 783 yards) par 6 on the European Challenge Tour this week

July 09, 2015

OK, so we've finally found a golf hole Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson can't reach in two. Well, we're pretty sure they can't.

The European Challenge Tour's new Slovakia Challenge event will feature a unique challenge of its own: A 783-yard par 6. The monster is the 15th hole on the Legend Course at the Penati Golf Resort.

Not surprisingly, it's the longest hole in the history of major professional golf tours. However, according to the players, the beast of a hole will play pretty easy.

"It is a birdie opportunity, definitely," Challenge Tour player Ricardo Gouveia said. "If you don't mess it up there's going to be a lot of low scores there this week I think."

Incredibly, this isn't the longest hole played in a recent competition. At the 2014 World Amateur Championship, Japan's Oshitate Course at Karuizawa 72 East Golf Club featured a finishing par 6 of 787 yards. Meaty.
