2018 Fort Worth Invitational tee times, viewer's guide

Dean & DeLuca Invitational - Round Three

Stacy Revere

The PGA Tour remains in Texas this week for the Fort Worth Invitational, which will be held at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth for a 73rd time. It's one of just five tournaments on the schedule that has invitational status, featuring a smaller field of players who qualify based on a number of criteria, including the "Champion's Choices", which are two players selected by the current and former winners of the event.

This year's Colonial field is a strong one, with six of the top 20 players in the world set to tee it up, including 2016 winner Jordan Spieth. Another former champion, 2014 winner Adam Scott, is also in the field as he continues to lock up a spot in the U.S. Open and keep is consecutive majors played streak alive. Aaron Wise, fresh off his maiden PGA Tour victory is back in action this week as well.

Each year, Colonial proves to be one of the more underrated and entertaining stops on tour, with 11 of the last 14 decided by just one stroke or in a playoff. Defending champion Kevin Kisner, who edged out Spieth, Jon Rahm and Sean O'Hair by one last season, will look to become the first back-to-back winner of the event since Ben Hogan did it in 1946 and 1947, and again in 1952 and 1953.

TV Coverage

The Golf Channel will carry live coverage on Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET and on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. CBS will take over on the weekend beginning at 3 p.m.
