A brief look at the top-25 finishers at PGA Q school who earned fully exempt status for 2009

HARRISON FRAZAR: 37... from Dallas... 10-year veteran of the PGA Tour... career earnings of $8,379,227... Winner of the Nationwide Tour's South Carolina Classic in 1997... shot 59 on the Nicklaus Tournament Course in the fourth round of Q School this year.

JAMES NITTIES: 26... from New South Wales, Australia... Has played the Australasian Tour and mini tours in the U.S. ... turned pro in 2004... won his second professional tournament, the 2004 PGA Australian Championship.

DEREK FATHAUER: 22... from Jensen Beach, Fla. ... played college golf at Louisville... he and his twin bother Daryl played in the Ginn sur Mer Classic in October of 2007... turned pro in September.

CHRIS STROUD: 26... from Brunswick, Ga. ... joined the PGA Tour in 2007... two-time All-American at Lamar... tied for third in NCAA Championship in 2003... winner of the 2003 North and South Amateur.

JOHN HUSTON: 37... from Palm Harbor, Fla. ... 21-year veteran of the PGA Tour... has seven tour victories... career earnings of $14,762,421... in 2000 was ranked as high as 16th in the world.

ROBERT GARRIGUS: 31... from Scottsdale, Ariz. ... three-year veteran of the PGA Tour... has finished third twice... father was an Olympic gold medalist in shooting.

DAVID BERGANIO JR.: 39... from Los Angeles... has played only nine PGA Tour events in last five years because of chronic back ailments... lost to Phil Mickelson in a playoff at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in 2002.

WEBB SIMPSON: 23... from Raleigh, N.C. ... Graduated from Wake Forest last May... has played in seven PGA Tour and eight Nationwide Tour events... turned pro in May.

JAMES OH: 26... from Lakewood, Calif. ... has played the Asian Tour and the Nationwide Tour... Won the Nationwide Tour's Mark Christopher Charity Classic in 2003... won the U.S. Junior Amateur in 1998.

GLEN DAY: 43... from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. ... joined the PGA Tour in 1994... won the MCI Classic in 1999... career earnings of $4,337,428... third trip to Q School... Attended University of Oklahoma.

MATTHEW BORCHERT: 31... from Windermere, Fla. ... Has played the Hooters Tour, the Golden Bear Tour and the Gateway Tour... played in the U.S. Amateur in 1999.

JASON DUFNER: 31... from Auburn, Ala. ... played the PGA Tour in 2004, 2007 and 2008... two-time winner on the Nationwide Tour... played college golf at Auburn... did not take up the game until age 15.

JIMMY WALKER: 29... from San Antonio... joined the PGA Tour in 2005... Nationwide Tour player of the year in 2004... won three Nationwide Tour events... played in the U.S. Open in 2001.

TROY KELLY: 30... from La Quinta, Calif. ... shot a 67 in the second round of the U.S. Open in 2005 (after opening with an 83)... played six Nationwide Tour events in 2007 and played the Canadian Tour in 2008.

TYLER ALDRIDGE: 24... from Caldwell, Idaho... made six cuts in 23 Nationwide Tour starts in '08... broke 70 only four times in 59 rounds on the Nationwide Tour this year.

GARY WOODLAND: 24... from Orlando, Fla. ... played college golf at Kansas... won four college tournaments... played on the Hooters Tour the last two years.

NOTAH BEGAY III: 36... from Albuquerque, N.M. ... Winner of four PGA Tour events... former Stanford teammate of Tiger Woods... hasn't played the PGA Tour full time since 2004 largely because of chronic back ailments.

BRIAN VRANESH: 31... from Scottsdale, Ariz. ... has played on the Nationwide Tour and the Gateway Tour... winner of two Gateway Tour events... missed earning his PGA Tour card at Q School in 2006... his cousin is Jon Garland, pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels.

Y.E. YANG: 36... from Seoul, South Korea... played the PGA Tour in 2008... best finish was a tie for ninth at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am... winner of four tournaments in Japan.

KENT JONES: 41... from Portales, N.M. ... joined the PGA Tour in 1998... best finish was a tie for sixth at the 84 Lumber Classic in '06... has two Nationwide Tour victories.

BOB HEINTZ: 38... from Clearwater, Fla. ... has five years of PGA Tour experience... his best finishes are three fifth-place ties... has two Nationwide Tour victories.
