The PGA Tour is entering its 'Jerky Boys' era.

Don't ask us why, but golf pranks are suddenly hot again. Recently we've seen Charley Hull come under fire for pranking her caddie with a fake lotto ticket and Good Good Golf stage an elaborate ruse with $25,000 imaginary dollars on the line. Now with a little help from Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions, the PGA Tour is getting in on the hijinks with debut of its new YouTube series, "PGA Tour Alter Ego."

According to a report from Variety's Brian Steinberg, the debut episode will premiere Tuesday, 8/18 on the PGA Tour YouTube channel, PGATour.com and Omaha Productions’ YouTube and social channels. The episode will feature 2026 U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark going undercover to surprise unsuspecting fans and colleagues, while a follow-up episode starring Max Homa is scheduled to air at a later date.

The series, sponsored by ShipSticks, is part of the PGA Tour's new expanded content strategy. PGA Tour chief marketing officer Andy Weitz says 'Alter Ego' and other content like it will be targeted at fans of "Will Ferrell," "Druski," "YouTube golf," "simulator golf," and "gaming."
