Michael Kim is tearing TPC Twin Cities apart on Friday.

Kim began his second round at the 3M Open in a tie for 43rd. He's now solo second. The Golf Twitter favorite boosted his way up the leaderboard like Bullet Bill in a Mario Kart race thanks to a hot putter than led him to nine(!) straight one putts and a scorching front-nine 29.

The turn didn't slow Kim down either, as the 2018 John Deere Classic winner birdied two of the first three holes on his inward nine to climb closer to leader Ben Kohles. Despite beginning his round with back-to-back pars, Kim now has a chance to match the course record 60 at TPC Twin Cities, previously achieved by Paul Goydos (2017), Daniel Gale (2023), Adam Svensson and Kurt Kitayama (2025).
