Overview
Devils Tower is the tale of two courses. The first nine, built in the 1990s, wanders an open prairie section of the property. In 2005, veteran Colorado-based architect Dick Phelps and then-associate Kevin Atkinson remodeled the existing holes and added nine more pulse-racing holes on more dynamic land to the south. These play through ponderosa woodlands and skirt the edge of a high canyon wall overlooking the Belle Fourche River, and when not in the trees offer views of Devils Tower National Monument over eight miles in the distance.

Review
“Course has a nice variety of holes which utilize the slopes and the flatland. Unfortunately holes 9 and 18 seem to be force fit and did not meet my eye. Others will believe otherwise and that is okay. Nice views of Devil’s Tower from several holes."
