Overview
Ridge is the operative word at this 1999 Jack Nicklaus design east of Seattle. The holes run out and back along spines perched over ravines, with fairways and greens bracketed by sleek, modern bunkers. Though bordered by homes, the attention is more focused on elevated views of the nearby Cascade Mountains and dense evergreen forests. Holes 12 through 15 play along the rim of a deep, wooded canyon that falls away tee-to-green on the left, followed by a short gambler's par 4 where players have to navigate a field of staggered bunkers.

“Jack Nicklaus design with spectacular scenery of mountains. You'll remember Hole 14, a great downhill dog-leg Par 4 over a ravine and with great risk-reward if you cut-off the corner to get near the green."

“Highly typical Jack Nicklaus layout in a stunning Pacific Northwest setting that edges several holes over, around, and seemingly through ridges and ravines while being forced to avoid a heavy supply of fairway bunkers and other penal features. The course isn't walkable on the typical day, and even in carts the course presents a stout test in factoring in the numerous elevation changes and blind features."

“Fun to play where the pros play. Very typical Jack course, high fades at a premium and challenging fairway bunkering. Course plays very wet in winter."

“Beautiful setting that takes advantage of views of the Cascades. Several holes allow the player to "bight off as much as they can chew". Fun layout. Well conditioned."

“Great views when the weather is clear. Lots of elevation change - is a hard course to walk. Not much room for error which subtracts from playability. Housing on the back nine takes away from some of the ambiance."
