“Tough, demanding in terms of length and precision. Firm fairways and receptive greens, good opportunities for the ground game usage, good views of the Potomac River."

“Fazio’s Championship Course at Trump National presents a strong challenge along the shores of the Potomac River. The interesting routing maximizes play along the river, and there is a good mix of birdie and bogey holes. The course seems to play longer than the yardage, so choose your tee box wisely. All of the par 5s are strong (but three are similar) and the par 3s are not as diverse as they could be. The greens and surrounds are interestingly varied with some fun internal contours. There is a Biarritz green, a hole with two greens, and a beautiful observation tower/waterfall as a backdrop to 18."

“The championship course is mostly routed through marshland which gives it a feel more often associated with the coastal Carolinas (think Kiawah or Secession) and is very unique to the Washington D.C. area despite the fact that much of D.C. is literally in swampland! With a limited amount of play, the golf course is always in immacualte condition and the service and ammenities are second to none."

“Greens are moving and sloping. Bunkers defend most greens and tee shots. Fairways great shape and bouncy. Great views of scenery and river. Lots of variety of distances, good length pat 3s and a nice short par 4 to challenge aggressive players."

“Improved from the previous Lowes Island. Tree removal along the Potomac River definitely adds to the visuals from both up the hill on tee 1 as well as the holes alongside it. Felt very Floridian holes 2-17. Very flat, lots of water, bunkers to avoid. Dual green 10th interesting."
