“The Club at Viniterra is a very nice public course just east of Richmond, VA. The course has bermuda fairways and greens. The fairways get narrow in certain areas. But, the course is not overly tight. The fairways had reasonable rollout. The greens were large and undulated - they were also firm, fast and rolled true. A well struct shot held the green. The bermuda rough played tough. Course has nice elevation changes with multiple rolling fairways. Most risk/reward revolves around cutting fairway corners. The course is well bunkered - both fairway and greenside. There is very little option to run the ball into the greens. The Club has many sets of tees that can change the angle of the holes. It also allows a tee selection for all levels of golfers."

“I played this course on same day as Royal New Kent and liked it better if only for the fact that each hole was connected to the previous one rather than the long distances between greens and the next tees at RNK. This is a good, not great course that, while challenging to play, does not overwhelm you with its character. Maybe a top 40 in VA. Worth playing if you are nearby."

“Nice variety built through real estate. Fun to play and tough from back tees."

“Too many forced carries and blind shots. Many holes look and play alike. No real advantage to play away from bunkers or hazards as shots were no more strategic that those that entered the green areas. Less than stellar condition."

“The placements, curvatures and depths of classically designed bunkers creates the foundation of this course. Wonderful shot option variety have been created via multiple approach angles from split tee box regions on almost every par 3. The aesthetic beauty displayed through water and sand hazards is only surpassed during peaceful rides through nature in between holes showcasing wooden bridges over babbling streams and moss coverings below towering tree tops."

“Has the potential to be great, but condition is poor—almost appears they aren’t even trying to restore fairway and green side bunkers. Course is also extremely unforgiving—a little miss turns into a huge number with little opportunity for recovery. Very spread out and unwalkable."

“Massive course with 50 yard wide fairways and deep bunkers surrounding every green. Very little thinking required. Pound it off the tee and hit it high into every green. Hundreds of yards between each tee. Decadent cart golf at its worst."
