“one of the best values for great golf in Utah. A frequent host to top amateur tournaments in Utah, Soldier Hollow Gold is a great test of golf. Fun and fair. Nearly every hole is built on the side of a mountain with a steep slope on both sides. The uphill slopes help to funnel the errant shots back into play, while the downhill slopes will likely result in a lost ball. Conditions are typically great for mountain golf in the summer months. May be a little spotty in the early spring depending on the severity of the winter but great golf lasts into the Fall where the colors on the surrounding mountains are rich and vibrant."

“The courses at Soldier Hollow are a must play if you're visiting Utah. The Gold Course sits higher on the mountain and provides a little better shot variety and better views. So much fun to play every time."

“Built into the foothills of the mountain range just above Midway, has some tight fairways, and good elevation movement throughout. Plays difficult/challenging from the back tees, but fair!"

“Super cool course in Heber Valley. The conditioning is good, but for the price it's an amazing course. Not walkable, but the variety of holes and the scenery make the day fun."

“Great views of the Heber Valley make for a scenic round of golf. The holes are overall fair in length and difficulty, entertaining and challenging, although the back nine becomes a little repetitive on a string of par 4s that don't feel much different from each other. Overall, it's an enjoyable round of golf. Be certain to consider altitude when choosing which tee from which to play."

“Utilizing the slope underneath Mt. Timpanogos, the Gold is a solid test from start to finish. Up, down, left, right across the front, a downwind downhill stretch to start the back gives way to an upwind uphill test coming home."
