“Cordillera Ranch is a beautiful residential golf course set in the Texas Hill Country. The course rolls through the hills and is absolutely gorgeous. The routing provides many standout golf holes, more heading downhill than up. While it is walkable, it is definitely designed with carts in mind and some of the tee walks would be arduous and time consuming if walking. It’s a challenging course as most Jack courses are. The fairways are wide, but misses are punished greatly. The side of the fairway can matter, which is appreciated. Approach shots need to be accurate and hit the right part of the fun, sloped greens. The par 3 16th is an incredible mix of human and nature, a golf hole that is extreme, gorgeous, challenging, and memorable."
