Overview
Located just south of downtown Dallas, Cedar Crest is an A.W. Tillinghast-designed public course that hosted the 1927 PGA Championship, won by Walter Hagen. The parkland course winds through trees and has relatively small greens, some of which have steep runoffs. In addition to the PGA Championship, the historic course also hosted the 1954 U.S. Amateur Public Links.

“A public Tillinghast! Interesting and contoured green complexes make this course a gem at a very affordable price. Lots of shots options off the tee and around the green. There is substantial elevation changes on this course with downhill and uphill tee shots and approaches. Architectural design is superb. Course conditioning is firm and fast. Greens have poa with bermuda. The poa becomes a bit of a problem with inconsistencies if not mowed that day. Fun course for players of all abilities"
