Overview
Tucked into the ancient forests of southern Jeju Island is the Blackstone course at Blackstone Resort. Designed by Brian Costello of JPM Design in 2005, the tranquil resort features three nine-hole courses, the North, South and East, with the East and South nines reserved for members only. Blackstone is known for immaculate conditioning and subtly undulating fairways built across sharp rocky terrain that give rise to pure bentgrass greens with substantial breaks. The featured holes at Blackstone include the short par-4 sixth on the East course, with three massive cross bunkers guarding the putting surface, as well as the long and narrow par-5 8th on the South course, with the hole only protected by the overhanging limbs of outstretched trees.
