“Classic 1908 Philadelphia-area course with more architectural history than most realize — Hugh Wilson and William Flynn both contributed refinements over the years. The back nine is the highlight, featuring quarry holes (10 and 11), a creek that runs through multiple holes, and a working train line along the 17th that gives it an old-world feel. Firm and fast conditioning, true greens, and an intimate old-school routing where greens and tees sit next to each other. The front nine is more straightforward, but the back nine makes up for it. Great local club with understated character."

“The course is a bit of a mix of holes with some very short and others extremely long. But it is typically in good shape and has a collection of very interesting and fun par 3s. The closing hole, however, seems a bit cramped leading back up to the clubhouse. Excellent food and beverage options, as well as an indoor simulator bank."
