“Westwood Country Club is a golden-age C.H. Allison design. One of two Allison designs in the Cleveland Ohio area (the other being Kirtland Country Club) Westwood is a pretty parkland layout that uses the modest elevation changes on the property well. The par 3s are particularly good and conditioning of the golf course is excellent with firm and fast playing surfaces. It is not a terribly challenging golf with plenty of opportunities to score well, but challenging rough and firm greens make accuracy off the tee important if one hopes to create good birdie chances."
