“Formerly a private club, Brown's Run is now open for public play. Played from the appropriate tees it can be enjoyable for everyone from those new to the game to scratch players. Busy on weekends until mid-afternoon, but very light after that and on weekdays play is light making it easy to play quickly, or get in 36 holes without a problem. A bit out of the way just north west of Middletown, but an enjoyable round of golf."

“A pretty course, even more so with the tree removal going on now (2017-2018). Amazing fairways (like soft carpet), great greens. Holes can get a little repetitive (several dogleg lefts in a row at 7, 8, and 9), but overall a very enjoyable course to play. It uses to be over-watered, but they have been working to resolve that in recent years."
