“Bethpage Yellow was a pleasant surprise for me. While the shortest and possibly easiest of the five Bethpage courses, there's still fantastic land movement and plenty of fun holes left behind from Tillinghast's original Blue Course. I think it is more fun and better than the Blue and Green courses."

“The Yellow Course features many of the most notable Tillinghast Holes at the Bethpage facility. Holes 3 through 6 and 11 through 14 have excellent variability of terrain and club selection. Renovation work is underway to tame the deep bunkering surrounding the par 3 14th. Many of the locals prefer this course (to Black and Red) for its easy walk and out and back routing allowing for 9 hole play. The relatively short layout and flat greens lead to dramatic match play situations. Conditioning at Bethpage is typically excellent when considering the amount of play. Greens are well maintained to a true medium speed."
