“Waumbek is one of New Hampshire's oldest layouts, which unfortunately left us for a few years, only to be resurrected in recent times. The course sits in a gorgeous setting with full view of the back of the tallest peaks in the White Mountains, so a late afternoon round here is the stuff of dreams. Course firmness and design features harken back to the earliest days of golf in New England, which in these modern times is a breath of fresh air. The course is short, and scoring opportunities abound, but the rub is to get the ball to stop...with mid-summer dormant fairways, good luck!"
