“Montcalm Golf Club sits on a wild piece of property facing Whaleback Mountain ski resort, which should give a sense of the elevation changes that the course goes through. The course has solid layout variety with a nice mix of long and short Par 3s, 4s, and 5s. Shot options are really held back by the terrain, which many times dictates only one way to play a shot. Montcalm has some strategic holes, but none of them really stand out as excellent. Montcalm is located in a beautiful area and a great day can be had there, but the golf itself is pretty uninspiring."
