“Beautiful setting for the course, although conditioning was difficult while still recovering from hurricane damage. Wide fairways and large greens make the course enjoyable for all levels of player, although from the back tees the course is still a challenge for the low handicapper. Typical of Maples' designs, the course takes advantage of the natural hazards in his routing and water hazards play an integral role in how to strategically map out play. Par 5s are challenging and there are some very scenic par 3s that add to the enjoyment level. Not a tremendously difficult course, but fun to play."

“Course built in a mountain area with holes running through the vally and several into the woods. Fun to play, good condition, not very fast greens. The best of the tow Bald Mountain Resort courses. Don't plan on walking!"
