“Turner Hill is a solid golf course which turns a tough property into a playable, engaging layout. This layout from Hurdzan-Fry effort hints at Golden Age shot values at times with chipping swales and subtle green contours, but falls victim to modern target golf at others, especially when several holes traverse large elevation changes. TH is in the midst of tough historical company, being only a few miles from two of the world's best, but golf is both an old and a modern game, and Turner Hill shows that a great day can be had on a well-planned modern course too."
