Three Jack National

Four years after Club Pro Guy’s announcement that he’d be building a semi-private golf club, Three-Jack National, the golf world is still eagerly awaiting some progress. We’re not sure how long we’ll have to wait for Hank Jones’ masterpiece is to be complete. Three-Jack National will be built, or so we think, on 78 acres of solid concrete, which formerly served as a massive parking lot for a now demolished shopping mall in a blighted area of Kansas City. The east side of the property is flanked by I-635, which runs dangerously close to the opening three holes, with the remainder of the club surrounded by an area of Section 8 housing that the Kansas City Star once ominously dubbed "Little Fallujah.”
