Overview
About 25 miles south of downtown Chicago, Ravisloe is a public Donald Ross design that was formerly a private country club. At just 6,300 yards, the course is short but penalizing bunkers and undulating Ross greens provide ample challenge. Our panelists note that the course is often in good condition.

“Former private course no public, and kept in great country-club condition. Very likely the best public course in the Chicago area, and also the best value in the Chicago area."

“A chance to play a previously private Donald Ross course in Chicago. Recently restored, great land movement, and in good condition. If you cant access Olympia Fields North, this is a good alternative"

“Best value experience and course in Chicago. Old school country club feel, Donald Ross bunkers, and usually a fast round. Work it in your plans!"

“Very tricky shorter course, usually well maintained. Used to be private club and is now a pretty nice public course and event space. Fun layout and peace of play isn't usually too bad. Major bonus points in that it's walkable from the Homewood Metro stop, about 45 minutes from Millennium station."
