“Nice artificial contours to this new-ish course on a former landfill. Highly accessible from downtown Chicago, but you'll pay a premium to play here--the course is definitely good, but not sure if it's a great value."

“Best public courses within 30 minute drive of downtown. Really challenging layout with deep rough and howling wind fairly regularly. Unique elevation changes for Chicago course. Rounds will run you near $100 for weekend tee times but you can get reasonable twilight rates. The two courses are pretty similar, the Port course is probably a bit more unique, especially the closing 5 holes."
