“TwinEagles Talon in Naples Florida is 1 of 2 courses on property. The area has been under severe drought & this was plainly evident from the course & surrounding areas. Very wide fairways with little rough didn’t offer much challenge off the tee. Many of the fairway bunkers were off the fairways & also didn’t have any impact on tee shots. Green side bunkers were similar with some 3-5 yards off the green. There was ample space around the greens to play a multitude of recovery shots. The greens were large & had a variety of shapes. They were very firm & held somewhat. A healthy dose of rain would really benefit the entire SW Florida region, the Talon course included."

“The Talon challenged you in many different ways off the tee. Strategic bunkering provides a decision by the player on the best line to take which then sets you up with a clear line of sight to the green."

“Twin Eagles is a unique golf course with a number of unique holes. The last four finishing holes are challenging with compelling layouts - saves the course from being a banal Florida track. Very well conditioned – you could barely tell a hurricane blew through two weeks ago. However, it’s too flat and too many places and lacks character on the front nine."
