“Great challenging layout with a good mix of not only a variety in the layout, but some holes where can "swing away" and others where precision is more importance than distance. A surprising amount of elevation change given it's Central Florida. Conditions overall were good, greens in great shape. High handicappers will struggle (to put it mildly) here. A lot of water in play and trees come into play quickly on many holes. That leads to the problem of pace of play! Glacial, to put it mildly. 5 1/2 hour for 18 holes is not fun under any circumstances."

“As far as Florida golf courses go, this is one of the more interesting pieces of land. Lots of elevation changes make for interesting holes, the tree work done the past few years have made it more playable and enjoyable. The greens have some of the most undulations in the area. You just don't find courses like this in Florida. Conditions are solid."

“Very challenging course with major elevation changes and some demanding tee shots. Greens were in nice shape but fairways were a little scruffy. A great classic course."

“Very tough and demanding test of golf about 45 mins from downtown Orlando. The slope from the 6600 yd tees is 2 strokes over par for reference. A lot of elevation changes throughout you don't typically see in Florida. Course is usually in good condition but pace of play can be a major issue. Worth a visit if in the Orlando area and looking for something different from your standard flat Florida golf course where you can't tell the holes apart."

“Excellent central Florida course built in 1917 and designed by George O’Neil. Measuring 7,015 yards from the tips with par 72, it has six sets of tees down to a short set of 4,811. With lots of water hazards and unusual elevation changes of almost 100 feet, the course will challenge even the best players. Always in good shape with friendly staff and reasonable green fees."

“Facility is a little tired. Driving range and men's locker room are severely lacking. Pace of play was an issue. Well-stocked pro shop, and friendly service"
