“This is an exciting addition to SW Florida Golf. Built on a flat, square parcel of land emerges a throw back, walking golf course with an old school feel and wind swept expanse of sand, mounds, and challenging green complexes. You must navigate through the large sand and scrub sand barriers on almost every hole as your ball will run, run, and run some more on the hard and fast turf. Depending on where you end up, you are faced with difficult chip shots to pushed up greens that have many undulations and run offs. However, if you position yourself correctly, you can often use the putter to get up and down as many greens provide openings. The par three's feature Raynor templates like the punchbowl 16th. Routing is varied and interesting. Members will never get tired of finding new ways to play holes. Once this course has a couple of years of maturing, it will be spectacular. The new Clubhouse is rising which already looks stunning and imposing as it sits facing the entire course to it's west."
