“Narrow tree lined fairways. Small sloping greens. Need course knowledge because of the number of blind tee shots. All holes follow the natural contours that result in a variety of uphill and downhill shots. Significant elevation changes. One of the better maintained courses in Delaware. Driving it straight a must."

“Deerfield is the home to the Delaware Blue Hens golf team, and thus is in fairly good condition, even when elements are against you. The course boasts some crazy elevation changes, starting with hole 1—a par 5 that drops precipitously for the approach."
