“A challenging golf course with no flat lies and some brutal uphill battles. Built along several fingers of land that are severely uphill or downhill. Several long rides from green to tee crossing roads that proves to be very distracting along with holes lined with homes or with homes in the background. Unwalkable. Hole 14 is a spectacular par 3 over a massive ravine with an infinity green.....stunning.. Then two huge drops on 15 and 17 which are quite dramatic as the course finishes strong."

“Really fun golf course...especially 14 - 17 where Nicklaus takes you from the top of the property back to the valley with two par 3s that sandwich a brutally long (500+ yards) par 4 that has an almost 20 degree drop from tee to green. This is all followed by a great par 5 that is true risk/reward. Great conditioning and wonderful area of Monterey."
