Overview
Indian Wells Golf Resort is a 36-hole facility that previously hosted a season of Golf Channel’s Big Break series and as well as the Skins Game, an unofficial PGA Tour event last held in 2008. The Players course offers wide fairways but small, demanding greens protected by expansive bunkering. There is an exciting risk/reward opportunity at the short par-4 11th, where longer hitters may try and drive the green that is closely guarded by water on both sides.

“The Players Course is a must play when in the desert. The John Fought designed layout provides a significant challenge with multiple shot options on many of its 18 holes. The par 3's demand precise mid to long irons on approaches to midsize and smaller greens, while the par 5's challenge the player in both length and a need for accuracy. The variety of hole shapes have been carved from the natural topography providing a harmonious layout with more than expected elevation changes. Conditions are firm while the greens are receptive to well struck shots."
