“Incredible 17 and 18 holes. Course does not drain well, very soggy. White flower all over the course in the rough making balls very hard to find. Routing through houses but flows well. Needs help in mowing and bunkers. Greens in good shape"

“Arnold Palmer's first design! Old-school parkland course with tree-lined fairways, doglegs, and a number of water hazards. A good test of shotmaking with many risk/reward holes. Setting is mostly unspectacular, playing through a residential area, except for the last 2 holes which play along the cliffs overlooking the ocean with an amphitheater behind the 18th green. Conditioning is hit-or-miss; the greens used to be firm, fast, and smooth but have gotten bumpy and uneven in recent years. A better golf course than the Ocean course, but with less memorable views."

“The course routes through a housing development, finishing up with two holes along the ocean towards the Ritz Carlton hotel. Not particularly challenging, but kept in decent shape. Fine to play, but not a destination course (playing the adjacent links course is a better alternative)."
