No matter your scoring goals, you can attain them faster by improving your putting. Here are my five key thoughts as I get ready to putt: (1) Hold my breath just prior to initiating the stroke to keep my head and body still; (2) Start the putterhead straight back from the ball smoothly, slowly and naturally; (3) Keep the putterhead low to the ground; (4) Swing firmly but smoothly; (5) Keep the putterface moving along the putt's initial line three to six inches after impact.
