Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Inbee Park, Jim Nantz among 14 finalists for World Golf Hall of Fame's Class of 2027
Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Inbee Park and Jim Nantz are among the first-timer nominees as the World Golf Hall of Fame announced its list of 14 finalists for the Class of 2027.
The finalists are made up of candidates voted forward from four working groups: male competitors, female competitors, historic players and amateurs and contributors. A 24-member selection committee, comprised of media, WGHOF members and the WGHOF Board of Directors, will meet in December to review all the finalists and put forward a final vote. Finalist who receives 75 percent support will be elected.

Male Competitors
Competitors who are at least 45 years old during the year of an Induction Ceremony or retired from competitive golf for at least three years.

“The finalists for the Class of 2027 represent an extraordinary range of accomplishments and contributions to the game of golf," said Mike Trostel, director of the World Golf Hall of Fame, in a press release. "This distinguished group deserves recognition for the lasting impact they made on the sport in their own way as competitors, teachers, architects, broadcasters and innovators.”

In addition to an internal review of candidates, the WGHOF received 162 nominations from the public. This was the first year that opportunity was available for everyday golfers.
The Induction Ceremony for the Class of 2027 will take place July 20, 2027 in St. Andrews ahead of the Open Championship.
