Rickie Fowler had his putter working at the Deutsche Bank Championship, ranking second in strokes gained/putting at 1.770. The putter Fowler used is one he has had in the bag since early last year, a Scotty Cameron by Titleist Newport 2 prototype.
The putter has an interesting lineage. In a visit to Cameron’s putting studio Fowler looked over some prototype Newport 2 putters that had previously been reserved for Tiger Woods. Fowler’s putter is 35 inches long with a D6 swing weight and 3 degrees loft. The putter has “Rickie” stamped on the left bumper and “Fowler” on the right bumper.
