Fleetwood first put a 9-wood in play at the Players Championship in 2023. The reason was a 25-yard gap between his 4-iron and 5-wood. He prefers hitting woods over hybrids, and this 24-degree TaylorMade Qi4D 9-wood fills that hole in his bag nicely.
