Watch a trio of U.S. Ryder Cuppers play an impromptu game of closest-to-the-pin in Napa
In case you haven't been paying attention, this week's PGA Tour event is basically doubling as a Team USA Ryder Cup buddies' golf trip.
There are 10 members of Keegan Bradley's 12-man squad competing in the Procore Championship and the vibes are great in Napa. In fact, Captain Keegan called this "the closest team I've ever seen" on Wednesday. Aww.
But it's not all about the hang. Obviously, the guys want to stay sharp ahead of the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in two weeks. And for at least one hole, one trio of Americans couldn't have looked any sharper.
We take you to Silverado's par-4 eighth hole, where an impromptu game of closest-to-the-pin broke out during Thursday's first round between J.J. Spaun, Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley. Have a look as these guys hit three consecutive darts:
What a clinic. They literally had the hole surrounded.
All three converted their birdies from distances that will likely be conceded by Team Europe at Bethpage Black. All three look to still be in mid-season form in the fall season. And that's a good sign for Captain Keegan.
