Watch Charley Hoffman do an interview from a porta-potty
What happens at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. . . happens at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The latest example of zaniness from the PGA Tour's wildest stop is an interview with Charley Hoffman and Eric Anders Lang from SkratchTV. An interview that took place in adjacent porta-potties during Wednesday's pro-am. No, really.
The segment is titled "Between Two Port-O-Lets." We're not sure what the difference is between porta-potties and port-o-lets, but if anyone should know, it's Waste Management, the tournament's title sponsor. In any matter, it's worth a watch:
There are some great responses in there from Hoffman, but none better than when he's asked if he could comment on how good it smells in there. "Well, I'm not done yet."
The name and concept, of course, is a take-off of Zach Galifinakas' popular web series, "Between Two Ferns." Perhaps, golf has found a new, um, sitdown series as well.
