The U.S. Solheim Cup team should have taken a page out of Kobe Bryant's book

The United States Solheim Cup team did not lose to Team Europe because they had celebratory beers on the team bus Saturday night, with the score tied 8-8. Optically, though, it was not a great look.

Of course, no one would have cared if they had just kept it to themselves. In fairness, that's impossible to do in the modern day social media age. Camera phones are out. The record button is always on. There are likes and reposts to be had. It's the world we live in.

With all that said, this image of U.S. Captain Angela Stanford from Saturday evening is one that probably should have stayed in drafts:

Even Kobe Bryant's biggest hater (RIP), Alex Myers, couldn't help but reference his famous "Job's not finished" quote from the post Game 2 press conference of the 2009 NBA Finals. The L.A. Lakers had just taken a 2-0 lead over the Orlando Magic, and a reporter asked Bryant why he couldn't even crack a smile. Those three words—a stern look back—followed, and the rest is history. The Lakers won the series 4-1, then repeated the following year in 2010.
