This is the worst putt caught on video in golf history

    Save for later

Our friends at Bob Does Sports released a different kind of golf video this week in which their top player, Fat Perez, had to go through a "Gauntlet" of playing the rest of the crew. It wound up producing possibly the worst putt in golf history—and one of the funniest viral videos we've seen in sometime.

Well, as long as you're not the guy putting.

That would be BDS cameraman and editor Neil Arnet, AKA Big Ticket, who missed a small putt. Very small. And he wasn't even close.

Neil put down the camera to play the first hole against Perez and after a nice chip had about a two-footer to save par and win the hole. After the usual back-and-forth about whether the putt would be conceded, Neil tapped the putt. And, somehow, it only got about half way to the hole. Have a look—and a laugh—unless you're playing this weekend and don't want this horrible image in your head.

Man, that's rough. "This guy acted like he was putting downhill at Amen Corner," Joey Cold Cuts commented. Yep, pretty much. Although, we're not even sure that would have rolled two feet at Augusta National.

On the bright side for Neil's team, they did keep Perez from completing the gauntlet on the final hole. And this was great content that will give that video a huge boost. So, in a way, this meek stroke was actually a stroke of genius.
