Neal Shipley's incredible golf-ism, Shane Lowry's off-putting move and why we're #shrinking these golf shoes

Despite the field getting weaker by the year, and the golf course playing easier and easier due to overseeding, the Cognizant Classic at PGA National still managed to deliver this past Sunday.
Nico Echavarria was the winner, but the story was the epic collapse from Shane Lowry, who admitted afterward that he couldn't feel the clubface during his brutal double bogey-double bogey stretch that cost him the tournament. It was during that meltdown that Lowry, after blocking one into the water with an iron off the 16th tee, shooed away a cameraman who was filming him walking to take his drop. A tough look, to say the least.
That said, Lowry regained his composure following the shocking defeat and spoke to the media, something we commended him for on this week's episode of The Loop podcast. We also discussed the elephant in the room, Echavarria's (and his former college teammate, Taylor Moore's) past.
Plus, we chatted with PGA Tour rising star Neal Shipley, who officially teamed up with Zyrtec on Tuesday, becoming a player ambassador for allergy relief medication. Shipley discussed his rocky start to 2026, his "historic" ace in TGL and dropped one of the all-time golf-isms when discussing the Seminole Pro-Member, which he competed in on Monday.
